1. About this page

This page explains how to report illegal or harmful content on Rynda Crewing, how to complain about the service or a decision we have made, and how we handle these reports. It supplements section 16 of our Terms of Use.

Rynda Crewing is operated by RYNDA GLOBAL FZCO, registration number DMCC203729, Unit RET-R5-172, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

2. Where to write

We communicate in English.

3. Reporting illegal content

If you believe that a vacancy, CV, message or other content on the platform is illegal, send a notice to support@rynda.io. Under Article 16 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act), a notice should include:

  • an explanation of why you consider the content illegal;
  • the exact location of the content, such as the page address (URL) or, for a message, the conversation and the date it was sent;
  • your name and email address, except where the notice concerns child sexual abuse material;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the information and allegations in the notice are accurate and complete.

If your notice includes your contact details, we confirm receipt and tell you what we decided and whether automated means were used in handling it. We review notices in a timely, diligent, non-arbitrary and objective manner. You can use the same address to report content that breaches our Terms without being illegal, such as a fake vacancy or a request for a recruitment fee.

4. What we do and how we explain it

After review, we may leave the content unchanged, ask for a correction, remove or disable access to it, restrict features of an account, suspend it or close it, as described in section 10 of the Terms of Use and in the Employer and Recruitment Agency Rules.

If we remove or restrict content or an account, we send the user concerned a statement of reasons where we have their contact details (Article 17 of the Digital Services Act). It explains what we did and its territorial scope and duration, the facts and circumstances relied on, whether automated means were used, the legal ground or the term of our Terms that was breached, and how to ask for a review. We do not share the identity of the person who sent the notice unless it is needed to deal with it and they have agreed.

Vacancies collected from public sources are not written by us. A report about such a vacancy can lead to its removal from the platform; questions about the content of the advertisement itself should be addressed to whoever published it.

If we become aware of information giving rise to a suspicion that a criminal offence involving a threat to the life or safety of a person has taken place, is taking place or is likely to take place, we inform the competent authorities (Article 18 of the Digital Services Act).

5. Asking us to review a decision

If you disagree with a decision about your content or account, or about a notice you sent, email support@rynda.io within six months of the decision. Identify the decision and explain why you think it is wrong. Where possible, a different person from the one who made the original decision reviews it. We tell you the outcome and the reasons. If the review shows the decision was wrong, we reverse it without undue delay.

6. Other complaints

For complaints about the service, a payment or a refund, we aim to reply within 10 working days. Reports of fraud and of threats to users' safety are handled first.

Requests about your personal data are handled within the periods set by applicable data protection law. Where the EU GDPR or the UK GDPR applies, this is one month from receipt, extendable by up to two further months for complex or numerous requests, as explained in section 10 of our Privacy Policy.

7. Going elsewhere

Contacting us first is not required before you go to a regulator or a court. You may contact the data protection authority, consumer protection authority or court that is competent where you live or where the issue arose. If you are being asked for money or have been defrauded, also contact the police.
